Sony took to its PlayStation Blog today to remind PS3 owners that 2011 is going to be a very good year for them. It lists 20 good reasons why you will be glad you own a PS3. Or, if you don’t own one, then you can think of it as 20 good reasons to buy one. Yup, you guessed it – it’s a list of 2011 games that are only going to be released on the PS3 this year.

Let’s see what there is to look forward to and when we’ll be playing it…

PixelJunk Shooter 2 will be a bigger experience than the original game. Without going into detail, Dylan Cuthbert of Q-Games says it is adding every feature to the sequel that was left out of the original. He’s confident that there probably won’t be a PixelJunk Shooter 3 due to all the extra effort the team is putting in. In fact PJS 2 will be so much larger than the original, the team could not fit everything into an expansion.

Though Racers is arguably the least popular in the PixelJunk franchise, Q-Games is developing either a brand new Racers title or downloadable content called PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap.

If you’re interested in Q-Games’ PixelJunk series, then there’s good news for you this holiday season. Not only is a new PixelJunk game being released, but old PixelJunk games are going on sale. Q-Games’ President and Executive Producer Dylan Cuthbert made the PixelJunk Shooter release PixelJunk bundle announcements on the PlayStation.Blog.
