Curly Brace steps into the spotlight in Cave Story

We here at Gamertell are incredibly excited for Cave Story‘s Wiiware debut, and Nicalis’ news makes us even more excited. It turns out that Curly Brace isn’t just going to be a supporting cast member in the Wiiware adaption! She’s going to actually be a playable character!

There isn’t any word yet on how big Curly Brace’s part will be in Cave Story, but Joystiq did tell Joystiq that fans won’t have to pay extra to play as her. She’ll be part of the main game download. This is a nice little extra bonus for fans. I mean, who likes paying an additional 200 Nintendo Points ($2) just for the honor of playing as a different character? (That’s right Capcom, I said it…)
