Sony attended Gamescom 2010 this year, and brought along with them Heroes on the Move, a crossover action game starring characters from Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper. San Diego Comic Con 2010: Ratchet and Clank to star in their own comic book
DC Comics’ Wildstorm imprint, which has already done comic book adaptations for God of War as well as Kane and Lynch, will now give Ratchet and Clank the same treatment. Insomniac’s own T.J. Fixman will write the series, so it should retain the video game series’ trademark humor…
Ratchet and Clank’s next adventure will be in comics
Just when we thought we were getting a break from the antics of Ratchet and Clank, we get word of a new adventure. However this time it won’t be in a game. A new six issue comic featuring the duo is being created by WildStorm Comics. Look for the first issue in your favorite comic book store on September 8, 2010.
Want Ratchet and Clank HD? Don’t hold your breath
HD remakes of PS2 games are all the rage these days. We’ve had God of War, Sly Cooper and now The Team Ico Collection is rumored to be happening next year. One of PlayStation’s best known mascots over the last several years has been Ratchet and Clank. It would be an obvious choice to throw this series into the remake arena. But that probably won’t happen because Insomniac doesn’t want to remake the game.
Sony introduces PSP Favorites, free game offers
Sony is trying to bring back the PSP in a big way. In addition to the 10 free games offer and the new marketing scheme, Sony is lowering the price of some PSP games. First up is the PSP Favorites line. These games will now cost $9.99 starting today (June 1, 2010). The games they are offering at this price are well worth it.
Insomniac Games working on multiplatform title
The decision to go multiplatform was one Insomniac feels was necessary in order to reach a larger consumer base. By making games for the Xbox 360, Insomniac carries with it a reputation for making some of the most popular games of the last three console generations. Insomniac is not giving details regarding the type of game it’s making and has confirmed it will not be showing the game at E3 2010.

Insomniac Games had such a great response to the Community it held in 2008 to celebrate the release of Resistance 2 , the company is doing the same thing for Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. There will be free food, rare swag and a chance to see the latest installment in the best selling Ratchet and Clank series.
Sony Home Update: Zombies invade Home once again
In an Halloween-style event along with a new personal space has been released that will transform all that enter into zombies. In much the same fashion as the Hamster invasion earlier this year, Home residents are divided in a virtual protest.
A new in-world space is loaded with activities, mini-games and all things Ratchet and Clank to include a store with Ratchet and Clank-themed items available for purchase.

Comic Con 2009: A closer look at three new Playstation games
Playstation was hands-on at Comic Con this year and Sony brought out a few of its best games for the PS3 and PSP to show off.
