Nintendo announces a ton of release dates for Wii, DS and DSiWare

The next few months are going to be filled with Nintendo games. Though not all these titles are from Nintendo studios, most all of them are exclusive to Nintendo consoles. Highlights from this list of release dates include Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Super Scribblenauts and Donkey Kong Country returns. You may want to start saving your money as you read this.

GDC 2010: OnLive launches June 17 for $14.95 a month

OnLive will be launching June 17, 2010 for a monthly price of $14.95 in the lower 48 states in America. If you are one of the first qualified 25,000 people to sign up for OnLive, your first three months of service will be free of charge. The rest of the community will be able to pay the standard monthly fee or sign up for 3 or 6 month plans for a discount. OnLive promises to reveal these prices options closer to the start of E3 which starts June 15, 2010.

Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M to be released in mid 2010

Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M are two titles Nintendo announced release windows for today (February 23, 2010) in Australia. IGN alleges the two games will be available between June and August 2010.

Electronic Arts earnings report wrap-up

EA’s Q3 earnings report yielded a wide array of news yesterday. In addition to all the big numbers being thrown left and right, a lot of game announcements were made too. EA’s 2011 fiscal year ends March 31, 2011 so these games are expected to be on store shelves by then.

Spotted at GameStop: Splinter Cell: Conviction release date fail

Last Monday (January 25, 2010) I was at one of my local GameStop stores waiting for the midnight release of Mass Effect 2. In between discreetly staring at the weird hairstyles of other customers and playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii, I decided to take a look at the wall of new and upcoming releases.
