GameStop, Amazon and Best Buy accepting 3DS pre-orders
Okay, now that you know everything there is to know about the 3DS launch on March 27, 2011, stores are ready to cater to you. You guessed it – it’s pre-order time. You don’t even have to leave your home. Lots of official websites have already updated so you can reserve your unit immediately.
Here’s a list of retailers that are ready to take 3DS orders. You can pick out your favorite one…
Renchi’s offering free shipping on orders over $49 on December 18, 2008
If you still haven’t done your Christmas shopping, for shame! Shame I say! Well, Renchi is offering a little assistance to help get you motivated so you don’t have to run to Walgreens on Christmas day and pick up a couple Chia Pets. On December 18, 2008, the site will offer free registered airmail shipping on any order over $49.
Of course, registered airmail can be a bit… slow. You won’t get your gift before Christmas, if you order it that way. If you’re buying for yourself, that’s no big deal, but surprisingly, receiving a card that says “Your gift was unavoidably detained and will be here between December 26-29,” is a bit of a buzz-kill. So, Renchi is also going to offer shipping credits on FedEx/DHL shipping – the amount that it would have cost if it was shipped via free airmail will be deducted from your courier shipping total. So you’ll be able to get either free shipping or reduced shipping.

DSi price drops at RenChi and NCSX
Online import game retailer RenChi has just announced a pretty substantial price drop on the new DSi units. Instead of charging $299, like many internet retailers, RenChi has decided to drop the price to $249. I just checked their page a few moments ago (11:30am CST November 18, 2008), and both the white and black DSi units are in stock and ship within 24 hours.
After seeing RenChi’s DSi announcement, I decided to look through my favorite import internet stores. I discovered that NCSX is also offering the same $249 price…

Renchi becomes first videogame retailer featured on Facebook
It is no secret that Facebook has sold out, capitalizing on it’s success to try and make more money. (Not many more features though. Of course it already is enough like Myspace as it is.) A new kind of vendor is placing ads on Facebook for the first time though. On November 9, 2007, Renchi more »
