Now, we’re going to a quiet little town named Raccoon City for a home tour, to take in the local color, and maybe get our head eaten off. Resident Evil is likely as hardcore as franchises get on the Wii. You’re killing zombies, after all. Violently. The Wii is finally getting some action, literally, as Capcom just announced that it will be releasing the sequel to Resident Evil: The Umbrella Cronicles (RETUC) exclusively on the Nintendo Wii and plans to release remakes of two classic Resident Evil titles.

The chronological predecessor to RETUC is titled Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles (RETDC) and will be based on the original Resident Evil 2 (released on the PSOne) story following familiar paths of characters Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield.
