Sony may place a bounty on PSN hackers
Some hackers may claim to be on the side of the people when they infiltrate a company’s security, but the truth is they’re just digital sadists with too much time on their hands. In other cases, hackers are just thieves – plain and simple. If there’s one thing thieves can’t resist, it’s greed. The old saying goes there’s no honor among thieves and that may prove to be true in time. All Things Digital is reporting that Sony is considering offering a cash reward to anyone who turns in the person or persons responsible for infiltrating the PlayStation Network.
Hardware stolen at Super Street Fighter IV event, cash reward offered for thieved video files

Art group I Am 8-Bit recently hosted a Super Street Fighter IV launch part in Los Angeles, CA (USA) on Friday, April 22, 2010. Apparently a good time was had by all but there was a tragedy.
Some tech was taken including HD cameras, SD cards and a MacBook Pro. I was initially suspicious that those were actually giveaway items and this was a publicity stunt until I read the complete email sent by group founder, Jon M. Gibson.
