GTA III’s 10th anniversary celebrated with $4.99 app on December 15
Get ready to remember how awesome older entries in the Grand Theft Auto series could be. Rockstar has just confirmed that Grand Theft Auto III: 10 Year Anniversary Edition will be on your iOS and Android devices next week. December 15, 2011, to be exact. Which means returning fans and new audiences will be able to help Claude make a name for himself in Liberty City while also working towards a confrontation with his ex-girlfriend, Catalina.

Red Dead Redemption GOTY includes free DLC and Undead Nightmare
Those who delayed in purchasing Red Dead Redemption will find themselves rewarded next month. Rockstar Games has decided the game has been so popular and successful that it merits a game of the year edition. And this is one great GOTY option. Not only will it be $49.99, $10 off the original Red Dead Redemption $59.99 price tag, it will also include the Undead Nightmare expansion and pretty much every bit of DLC that was released….
L.A. Noire’s Nicholson Electroplating DLC revisiting real Los Angeles caper
L.A. Noire’s Nicholson Electroplating DLC is actually a representation of a true life L.A. disaster. On February 20, 1947, an explosion at the O’ Connor Electro-Plating Plant caused the death of 15 people and injuries to 151 more A mushroom-shaped cloud led to fears that someone had dropped a nuclear weapon on Los Angeles. The truth turned out to be much less sinister.
The plant’s chief chemist, Robert Magee, had falsified his credentials. He had claimed to have a Ph.D from M.I.T. when, in reality, he had dropped out of his Ohio high school. Though he displayed enough knowledge of chemistry to fool the real scientists who worked at the plant, he made a fatal error handling perchloric acid.

Rockstar Games is well known for its ability to create a sense of time and place in its games. Whether it’s the cocaine-fueled ’80s fantasy Grand Theft Auto: Vice City or the gun-slinging Wild West of Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar makes you feel like you’re in that setting and hopes to repeat its performance with L.A. I know people were hoping L.A. Noire would be released sooner rather than later. I recall optimistic people hoping for April. Well, it’s not going to be an April game. It’s going to be a May 17, 2011 release. If you’re in Europe, you’ll have to wait and extra three days until May 20, 2011.

Cheaters be damned in Red Dead Redemption
Cheaters never learn. You try to play a nice game online, and you find yourself pitted against players with equipment they did not earn. It’s a disgraceful practice, especially in the wild west. Soon cheaters will be weeded out by Rockstar in Red Dead Redemption. The team will also be on the lookout for “griefers.” Griefers are individuals who constantly ruin the experience of fellow gamers by killing them.
Red Dead Redemption patch 1.02 ready for download
As previously promised, Rockstar has released another patch for Red Dead Redemption. This patch fixes a whole mess of issues including some of the difficulties so many of us have been having with multiplayer. You will be prompted to download the patch the next time you boot up RDR on PS3 or Xbox 360.
The Ballad of Gay Tony gets a price cut
The Ballad of Gay Tony, as well as its predecessor The Lost and Damned, requires you to have a copy of GTA IV in order to play if the buy the downloadable version.
