Here is the roster for WWE ’12

Earlier today, the massive 63 player roster was revealed for WWE 12. WWE ’12 is a complete revamp of the WWE Smackdown vs. Raw games in name and appearance. The animations and grapples are said to be more natural, the graphics are better and that alone should make for a fresh experience. The WWE is pulling wrestlers from the present, the past, living, deceased, active, suspended and retired to fill out this roster. As if 63 wrestlers weren’t enough, there are still 14 additional wrestlers that have not been revealed. Strangely absent from the list is Bret “The Hitman” Hart, who has been really active in the WWE as of late. Something tells me he’ll be offered up as DLC down the line.

NBA Jam will not get any updates

The honeymoon is over for NBA Jam. As nice as it was to see the game make a return on the Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3, I think we all knew deep down inside the excitement for the game wouldn’t last. Electronic Arts has confirmed that NBA Jam will not receive updates to address roster changes or new features.

Complete superstar roster for WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011

The roster for WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 was recently revealed to the world. Believe me when I say this list of WWE superstars is huge. Chances are if you’ve seen a superstar on either Raw or Smackdown, they’re in this game. THQ is also going to have downloadable content for SvR 2011 in time for the holiday season. New superstars such as members of The Nexus will be included as well as legends such as The British Bulldog and Lex Luger.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom welcomes Dead Rising’s Frank West

The wild and wacky collection of characters in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars has added the power of the press. Frank West, the photojournalist at the center of the shopping mall zombie outbreak in Capcom’s Dead Rising, is throwing his Servbot hat into the ring.

Frank showed off his combat skills busting up the zombies of the Willamette Mall, so we know he can handle himself with baseball bats, shopping carts and whatever else is at hand. He joins a Capcom roster including Street Fighter faves Chun Li and Ryu, Viewtiful Joe, who starred in his own self-titled game, and Batsu from fighter Rival Schools. Revealed so far from the Tatsunoko stable of anime characters are luminaries such as Ken The Eagle and Tekkaman, the space knight who battles “for the very future of Earth itself.”

Vick will join Madden after all (with a player rating of 73)

No sooner than I write that Michael Vick isn’t in the Madden NFL 10 roster update, the Philadelphia Eagles sign him and end all the speculation.

EA game designer and ratings czar Donny Moore said Vick will don an Eagles uniform in the August 19, 2009, update for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. Moore talked with the First Cuts blog about re-integrating Vick into the world’s bestselling football game.

Mortal Kombat Vs. DC full roster revealed

Midway has finally released the full roster for upcoming fighter Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe – a leak apparently prompted the official release. The final four on the list are: (drumroll, anyone) Shao Kahn, Darkseid, Baraka and Lex Luthor. Yep, in case you missed good old snaggletoothed Baraka, he’s back in action. The game is due out in November on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Fans of fighters, wacky MK antics, and the DC universe heroes and villains should snap it up.
