E3 2011: A short tour of Trion’s booth (with video)
Below is a quick video of the booth babes and game displays at Trion Worlds at E3 2011.
They only had two games on the floor, End of Nations and Trion.
E3 2011: En Masse plans for more action and politics in MMOs
I have to admit, I’m more than a little jaded when it comes to massively multiplayer online (MMO) games, especially when it comes to combat, which lately just seems to be cycling through my skills as their timers go off.
PaizoCon 2011 sure to be a hit
Paizocon 2011 is on track to run in Bellevue, Washington, this June 10-12. It’s come a long way from Paizocon 2008, with a mere thirty people in attendance. This year’s convention has 26 guests of honor and 81 events currently scheduled and it wouldn’t surprise me if this year’s convention gets close to selling out all 500 tickets.

Paizo Publishing is giving away a free Carrion Crown Player’s Guide PDF for players, in anticipation of the release of its latest adventure path for the Pathfinder role playing game (RPG), Carrion Crown, due for release March 23, 2011. The company also promises monthly updates of further episodes.
Samurai and gunslingers coming to Pathfinder
On January 24, 2011, Paizo Publishing began open playtesting for Ultimate Combat, a sourcebook for its successful Pathfinder fantasy role-playing game (RPG). If all goes well, this hardcover book will be released August 2011. The highlight of Ultimate Combat will be the three new classes – samurai, ninja, and gunslinger – completely worked out from levels 1 to 20.
Vampire Lord a decent stocking stuffer
Being a “serious” gamer I don’t play the little games that come with Windows so much as I like the new experiences and exploration that, bottom line, you just don’t see in a minefield. Instead, I play slot games and I’m happy to hear that Phantom EFX just started a new line of slot games, the Slot Quest series, starting with Vampire Lord. Yes, you’re just playing slot machines and clicking the ol’ left mouse button repeatedly but it’s awesome how shamelessly the programmers rip off the good ideas from the more serious games.
Gamertell Review: Dawn’s Light 2 for Windows
After Harvey, Vera, Tyson and Virgil defeated Mordecai, saved the world and such in Dawn’s Light, all three went to settle down. Tyson joined the Lone Wolves ninja/mercenary group, Vera returned home and married David and Harvey married a girl named Edith and returned to the island where he grew up with the intention of making it liveable again and raising a family.
Seven years later, Edith leaves Harvey. He’s a shell of a man, unsuited to a normal life. He spends his days in bed, wearing only his underwear, fantasizing about being a hero…
