Scene It? Twilight now scaring DS owners

Next time you go into your local game store, you might want to be careful if you browse the DS sections. See, something we’ve all been hoping wouldn’t happen, has happened. Scene It? Twilight has been released. Konami shipped the to stores February 9, 2010, and they could be hidden among the stock right now.

Don’t panic! If you want to avoid exposure to both games, then you just have to be aware of your surroundings. If you see an unusual amount of sparkles around the DS games, and suddenly feel yourself overcome by a wave of what feels like teenage angst, then clear the area. It could be right beside you!

Scene It? Twilight is your standard Scene It? game, only it’s on the DS and focuses on the Twilight movie. It probably covers the first Twilight book as well, though the press release doesn’t mention anything about that. I’m just going by my experiences with the first Scene It? Harry Potter board game…

First official Twilight video game will be Scene It? Twilight for the Wii

Konami, how could you? Things looked like they were going so well for you. You’ve got Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker coming out soon, not to mention Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Pop’n Music, SAW The Video Game and a new DDR game. But no, you had to turn to the dark side. You had to bring Twilight to the Wii and DS.

That’s right, Konami’s part of it. It’s teaming up with Screenlife for Scene It? Twilight. The game will be released not only as a standard DVD board game, but also on the Wii. There’ll also eventually be a DS incarnation, but that won’t be out until 2010. For now, let’s focus on the versions of the game that will be out before the The Twilight Saga: New Moon movie is released.

The Scene It? Twilight DVD board game will be out first, and Amazon’s saying it’ll be out October 1, 2009…

Gamertell Review: Seinfeld Scene It? DVD game

Product: Seinfeld Scene It?System(s): DVDRelease Date: August 2008Publisher: Mattel (Screenlife)Price: $39.99Pros: Wide variety of trivia questions, nice board design, unique player tokens and really follows the Seinfeld theme.Cons: Too easy for die-hard Seinfeld fans, too difficult for those with a passing interest in the series. Only four people can play.Overall: A great gift and game for people who watch the show when its on TV or own some of the DVD sets.Rating: One thumb up, one thumb sideways; 85/100; B; *** 1/2 out of 5

I was eager to try and play Seinfeld Scene It?, the latest entry in the series of trivia games which also incorporate video segments via DVD. I had to prove my wealth of knowledge concerning the show, especially after a Harry Potter Scene It? debacle where, despite my having read all the books and seen all the movies at least twice, I still came in last…

Talk nerdy to me this Valentine’s Day

Love – a four letter word that inspires kinship, hope and joy.

Nerd – another four letter word that was once a derogatory connotation for those intellectual individuals who may not have the skills of an athlete but could run circles around them in equations and computer knowledge.

Those are the days long gone as Nerd is now the new word for love according to Steve Tilley of the Winnipeg Sun in Canada.

Microsoft announces SceneIt for Xbox 360 and new controller

One of the more interesting announcements from last night’s (July 11, 2007) press conference and the first from Jeff Bell (corporate VP of global marketing) was the news that SceneIt?, the popular DVD trivia game, will be making an appearance on Xbox360. According to Bell the game is “being designed from the ground up” to run on Microsoft’s game console and it’ll also ship with a wireless, buzzer-like handheld.

Bell is no fool and he’s clearly concerned about …
