PlayStation Home Update: Rock your personal space with Musicality or escape to paradise
For those who ever wondered what it would be like to own your own tropical island, the new Tropical Apartment Personal Space for $4.99 offers a tranquil island paradise in the South Pacific complete with white sandy beaches, lush tropical jungle in the background and a nice tropical hut with a hot tub to relax in out back. For those who like it loud, the new Musicality Space offers an entire concert hall at your disposal for $5.99. And, as usual, a big ol’ list of issues, updates and items for your avatar.
PlayStation Home Update: Help us Obi Wan Kenobi, aliens are attacking Home
Androids are now being recruited to defend Home from a new alien threat. Aliens have been spotted abducting small animals and threatening Home residents. In much the same fashion as the zombie vs humans and hamster vs humans battles, there’s going to be a dance-a-thon to see who stays and who goes on PS Home. Check out this new HOME News broadcast and decide which team you wish to join.
PlayStation Home Update: New Villain’s Lair at the Mall
The newest space available at the Real Estate store is the Villian’s Lair for $5.99 which features two mini-games, Village Griefer and World Domination, a huge aquarium full of exotic fish and a shark, hot molten lava and a laser protected trophy room.
And, of course, a big ol’ list of new stuff for your avatar.
Sony Home Update: Japanese Bon Festival now on US Home (updated)
From Japan to North America, the IREM Bon Festival has arrived. The IREM Bon Festival is a small community festival with so many freebies you’ll pass out with excitement. Just check the site daily for new items, this is definitely a space to keep an eye on in the coming weeks. NPC Vendors have their own stores lining the walls of the area with free balloons, cotton candy, masks, food and a complete white Yakuta-style kimono for both male and female avatars.
The newest personal space available at the Real Estate Store located on the first and second floor of the mall is the Wizard’s Den for $2.99.
Sony Home Update: Holiday events on Home
Players who log into Home this week will see patches of snow on the ground and snow flakes falling all around the Central Plaza area and one huge Christmas Tree with tons of presents underneath. Simply entering Central Plaza will unlock a Christmas tree that you can place in your personal space but, as far as the presents mini-game, simply approach the gift and unlock a gift by reading the clue it gives and just put the clothing or items on to unlock it.
This week at the Real Estate store a new personal space for MotorStorm: Pacific Rift fans is available.

Sony Home Update: Zombies invade Home once again
In an Halloween-style event along with a new personal space has been released that will transform all that enter into zombies. In much the same fashion as the Hamster invasion earlier this year, Home residents are divided in a virtual protest.
A new in-world space is loaded with activities, mini-games and all things Ratchet and Clank to include a store with Ratchet and Clank-themed items available for purchase.

Sony Home Update: SingStar Dance Club now open, Dizzee Rascal in the VIP area
The new SingStar space is finally open with an animated dancing floor, music video jukebox and a special VIP room currently featuring UK rapper Dizzee Rascal with a store kiosk selling virtual Dizzee merchandise in celebration of the release of his newest CD, Tongue n’ Cheek.
A new mini-game has been added in the FarCry 2 Home Space to Rueben’s office called “Reuben’s Report.”
And, for those who are used to going back to your personal space to unwind and redecorate with your newly earned items, you may find your Alcove Set from the Siren: Ward of Despair game replaced with a rather large knight in shining armor standing in their space instead this week.
Sony Home Update: Major Home overhaul coming September 2009
Recently announced during Gamescon 2009 in Cologne, Germany, and confirmed on the Sony PlayStation blogs, Sony Home will have a major overhaul with the release of version 1.3 in September 2009 with tons of updates and much welcomed additions to make the experience more fun.
LittleBigPlanet patch brings an in-game store and more
Media Molecule has just released a patch for the ever growing LittleBigPlanet that brings us to version 1.07 of the game. The patch is 67 MB but also packs in quite a punch on terms of functionality.
For starters, the patch adds an in-game store that will actually exist as its own planet named LittleBigStore. This convenient little store, will allow players to fully view the contents of costume packs as well as download them and automatically jump into costumes they already own without having to dig through their menus for them.
