Sony Home Update: A frightening new world has opened, more goodies at the mall

A frightening world has just opened on Sony’s PlayStation HOME and I do warn you. It’s not for the faint at heart. Playstation Store Update for the week of July 24-30, 2008

This week on the Playstation Store, we’ve got things that are actually interesting For starters, for only this week, a bunch of traditionally $10 games are now going for half-price. On the regular-priced front, there are a couple of treats: the PSP version of the classic Parappa the Rapper (a must-buy) and 1942: Joint Strike, a remake of Capcom’s maiden World War II-based shmup (1941 would’ve been preferable, but it’s worth a look), along with the episodic debut of the PS3′s first survival horror game, Siren: Blood Call.
