so blonde
Wii and DS get So Blonde
It seems that Rooms: The Main Building and Runaway: Dream of the Turtle won’t be the only PC to DS and Wii ports out there. (Okay, so Runaway was only ported to the DS. Still!) It turns out the PC adventure game So Blonde is receiving DS and Wii adaptations that will be out very soon. The only catch is, the games only a European release window at the moment. It’ll be out in Fall 2010 in Europe. Perhaps after that, a North American release could occur.
So Blonde is a point-and-click adventure story that’s not all that different from the Sam & Max, Strongbad and Tales of Monkey Island games available on the Wii…
Still So Blonde
Remember So Blonde? I don’t blame you if you don’t – its been about seven months since Gamertell reported on the point-and-click PC game called So Blonde, starring shipwrecked, teenage socialite Sunny Blonde. Well, there’s a new development, actually a new game. Dtp Entertainment and Wizarbox are bringing So Blonde to the Wii and DS in Europe in 2009. A US release hasn’t been confirmed, but it could happen.
It isn’t the exact same So Blonde that we all remember. The Wii and DS versions follow an alternative, “what-if” storyline, where Sunny Blonde didn’t land on the shiny, happy side of Forgotten Island. Instead, she landed on the dark side. So some of the story will be the same, but some will be new. The game will also feature new party mini-games that weren’t in the original title…
So Blonde seems insulting
On January 16, 2008 dtp, Wizarbox and ANACONDA, the forces behind the upcoming point-and-click game So Blonde, announced that 6 mini-games will be included in the game. Sadly, all of the mini-games are clones of familiar titles. For example “Coconut Adventure” is similar to the Game and Watch title Oil Panic and “Blonde Blonde Revolution” more »
