space channel 5 part 2
Review: Space Channel 5 Part 2 for PS3
Sometimes you feel like an epic, dramatic, “save the world” adventure, and sometimes you don’t. Space Channel 5 Part 2 fits quite comfortably in the “don’t” section. It’s goofy, bright, colorful and campy, with a rather ridiculous plot. None of that matters though, because it’s all just so much fun, while still being a rather challenging affair. So buckle up and prepare to blast some “Mexican Flyer” while practicing your “chus” and “heys!”
Xbox Live Update for the week of October 2 through 8, 2011
Time to unleash your slam dunk champion as NBA Jam: On Fire Edition forces its way into the paint of the Xbox Live Arcade. New features includes tag mode, allowing you to switch players out on the fly, and team fire. That addition allows your players to work together to achieve the “on fire” state Jam is legendary for. The game comes with the usual complement of wacky secret characters, including Barack Obama, a team of honey badgers and Dead Space hero Issac Clarke. One of the major complaints with last year’s disc-based NBA Jam, was a lack of roster updates. When the NBA actually starts playing games again, On Fire Edition will receive updated rosters. Even if you’re not a hardcore basketball fan, you may find some enjoyment in the over-the-top antics of this game. It’s 1200 Microsoft Points to play basketball with a honey badger. How can you say no?

On February 22, 2011, you can get enhanced versions of Sonic Adventure, Space Channel 5 Part 2, Crazy Taxi and Sega Bass Fishing on a disc…
Chu, Chu, Hey! Space Channel 5 Pt 2 and Sega Bass Fishing are back
Prepare for more ported Dreamcast goodness! Sega’s working on bringing two more classic games to the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Arcade. One’s a Simon-Says style rhythm game and the other is a fashing fan favorite. I’m talking about Space Channel 5 Part 2, the sequel to the legendary Space Channel 5 and Sega Bass Fishing…
10 best unintentionally educational games
Video games are often berated for the lack of educational content found in them. They’re often considered a waste of time. But, if you look closely, even games that aren’t slapped with the edutainment label or feature educational material can be teaching valuable skills to the people playing them.
Gamertell’s put together a brief list of some video games that weren’t created with the developers aiming to educate the masses, but can end up helping players build some valuable skills. With some, the educational value is pretty obvious, but with others you probably could spend hours playing without even realizing you’ve learned something from it…
