Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker boost PSP sales in Japan

The PSP sold 59,315 units in that same week to the PSP Go’s 1,890. In the previous week the PSP and PSP Go moved 30,302 units. The PSP managed to outsell every handheld and home console this week as well. Is it a coincidence PSP sales more than doubled the same week Peace Walker is released? We think not.

I won’t lie: I have never been a Sam Fisher fan. For whatever reason, the roguelike genre has eluded and confounded me for a number of years. Konami announces Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection for the PS2

Konami has announced the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection for the Playstation 2. While the press release doesn’t mention a shipping date, scanning the collection’s newly-created entries at Amazon and Gamestop reveals an expected March 18, 2008, shipping date. It’s priced at $29.99 and rated M by the ESRB.

Konami showcases new Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer

E3 has always been a place of surprises, revelations and announcements. In following with that tradition, Konami revealed a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots scheduled to be released March 2008 for the Playstation 3.
