TeeFury’s December 28 shirt highlights Ryu’s new business
TeeFury’s latest limited edition t-shirt offers a rather fun salute to one of gaming’s most iconic fighting games’ bonus rounds. In some entries of Street Fighter, like Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, players can have their chosen character beat up a car for points. The Teefury shirt by Ninjaink reminds pays homage to that more »
Opinion: Capcom might not be heading down the wrong path
Capcom‘s decisions as of late are ones that could lead to problems. However, save for the permanent save file for Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D, which they fixed, some of the decisions aren’t exactly new things for the company. Historically they didn’t have much of an effect on Capcom’s success.
Prepare yourself for Hello Kitty x Street Fighter merchandise
Capcom had quite a surprising announcement at the San Diego Comic-Con 2011. No, it isn’t that the Mega Man Legends 3 cancelation was just a big joke. Brace yourself, as Capcom is going to team up with Sanrio for Hello Kitty x Street Fighter.
Don’t get confused, Hello Kitty x Street Fighter isn’t a game like Street Fighter x Tekken or Marvel vs. Capcom…
E3 2011: Street Fighter X Tekken footage
Here’s a video of some Street Fighter X Tekken action for all of you fighting junkies out there. Please note that this game really has nothing to do with Tekken with the exception of the series’ characters and story lines. I overhead a few E3 attendees discussing SFXT before the event wondering how anyone could even pull off merging two such completely different fighting systems. The gameplay in SFXT is based entirely in the Street Fighter world with a seamless transition of the Tekken characters’ moves and combos.
E3 2011: Hand-on impressions of Street Fighter X Tekken
In Japan, “X” – pronounced “cross” – is sometimes used when two titans of entertainment work together on a song, an album or a movie. When Capcom and Namco announced that the two biggest franchises in fighting were finally coming together to do battle and put another “who would win” debate to bed. Capcom won the coin toss and will be releasing their game firs and they had it out for play at E3 2011
Street Fighter vs Tokidoki t-shirt on sale, now almost reasonable
It was really awesome back in November, 2010, when the 2010 New York Comic Con exclusive Street Fighter vs tokidoki items were added to the online Capcom Store. That is, until you saw the price. $40 for a t-shirt or baseball hat and $75 for a hooded sweatshirt or skateboard deck! Well, there’s a little good news now if you liked the shirt so much that you couldn’t get it out of your head – it’s on sale!
Street Fighter invades WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011
The creativity of gamers continues to amaze. One fan of the WWE and Street Fighter combined their passions to make some of the most impressive character creations I’ve ever seen. A YouTube user by the name of jim784m uploaded a video showing off his creations. The best part is everyone can download the characters on Xbox 360.

Capcom Store gets Street Fighter vs tokidoki items
Some rather unique, limited edition items have just been added to the Capcom Store. Capcom revealed at the 2010 New York Comic Con that it is collaborating with tokidoki designer Simone Legno for a small line of Street Fighter vs tokidoki goods, and they’re now available. I hope you’ve got money, because this stuff is expensive!
The two cheapest items are the Street Fighter vs tokidoki hat and shirt, at $39.95 each…
GamesCom 2010: Mortal Kombat producer believes showdown with Street Fighter “inevitable”
Hector Sanchez, Mortal Kombat producer, believes the long-discussed battle between that series and Capcom’s Street Fighter is going to happen. Sanchez even went so far as to tell NowGamer he believes it is “inevitable.”
Sanchez also mentioned that MK creator Ed Boon pitched the idea more than 10 years ago. Capcom’s Street Fighter’s World Warriors have taken on Marvel Comics characters, fighters from the rival SNK company and will soon cross over with Namco’s Tekken.
