Nintendo’s WiiWare turns one year old today, and the company was happy to issue a cheerful press release to mark the occasion, as they are wont to do. It was all smiles and “look at our great games” which was nice, but the good stuff came towards the end of the statement, with a preview for the higher-profile releases that are slated to go up in the coming months. Listing the likes of Cave Story, Icarian Kindred Spirits, Super Meat Boy, BIT.TRIP CORE and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, things are looking hot for the service.

Attention Strong Bad fans, great news! Telltale has put all the Strong Bad games together on one awesome DVD. The disc contains all five of the PC games plus some goodies (and everyone likes goodies).

The goodies include: a soundtrack sampler of some of your favorite songs from the games, some desktop wallpaper of Strong Bad and his friends/enemies and tons of video footage of cartoons, hidden features and even a “behind the bad” documentary.

This week, Nintendo and Incredible Technologies are proud to present you with Target Toss Pro: Bags, what I believe may just be the world’s very first “professional” bean bag tossing game. I don’t know if it’ll hold up to that bean bag minigame in Donkey Kong Country 3, but hey, it’s based on “the nation’s hottest backyard and tailgate sensation”.

Moving on to games you all probably care about, we have the latest from Strong Bad‘s adventure series – Strong Bad Episode 4: Dangeresque 3, the Super NES version of Space Invaders and Genesis shooter FORGOTTEN WORLDS.
