20 PSOne RPGs the PlayStation Store should offer (that aren’t Final Fantasy)

As you may recall, a week ago Gamertell featured a list detailing some of the original PlayStation games which deserved to be added to the PlayStation Store as PSOne classics. This week, we’re running with that idea again. Only this time, we’re focusing on RPGs that should be in the PlayStation Store. After all, the original PlayStation was famous for all of the phenomenal RPGs that appeared on it.

It won’t be as in-depth a look at the games and reasons for their inclusions, but instead a brief overview stating, “Hey, this deserves to be in the PlayStation Store because ______________.”

So let’s go through, in alphabetical order, 20 RPGs should become PSOne classics…

10 PlayStation games that deserve to be North American PSOne Classics

Thanks to Virtual Console and the PlayStation Store, people are being granted access to great, classic video games that they may have missed. The sad thing is, while Virtual Console is redistributing games at a steady pace, PSOne Classics are trickling out.

There’s a huge catalog of PSOne games available, and many of them are fantastic and revolutionary titles. Gamertell decided it was time to look back at some of the amazing games released for the PlayStation and pick out ones that deserve PSOne Classic status.

This is not a complete list. The original PlayStation was home to many wonderful, trailblazing games. Resident Evil, Parasite Eve, Chrono Cross, Tomba, Twisted Metal, Guilty Gear… the list goes on and on. Here, we’re just looking at some of the absolute best games…
