Review: Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition for 3DS
Of the 16 games available when the 3DS launched on March 27, 2011, Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition is the most high profile. It’s a gorgeous rendition of the console game that seems to fit perfectly on the handheld and could easily stand besides its PS3 and Xbox 360 cousins. Plus, the multiple difficult levels and control options guarantee beginners and masters alike will be able to enjoy matches…

Amazon‘s got a video game Gold Box event going on today (November 9, 2010). It isn’t a huge event, with the eight or nine sale items we’re used to, but still. Four sale video games is still pretty nice. Throughout the day, the box’s contents will change and a new video game will end up on sale to replace the old one.
The first sale item went up at 6am PST and was Sid Meiers Pirates! (Wii) for $19.99….

Piracy fears preventing Super Street Fighter IV PC release
Even though Street Fighter IV was released on Windows PCs, Super Street Fighter IV won’t be, and Capcom has a good reason why. Piracy. 4Gamer.net was able to interview Yoshinori Ono, the game’s producer, and he said the number of people who pirated the PC version of Street Fighter IV discouraged Capcom. While it did sell, and very well, lots of people pirated it.
I found it funny that Ono claimed in the interview that Street Fighter IV was “number one” when it came to illegal downloads…

Play Super Street Fighter IV on a Super Street Fighter IV HDTV
Roundtable Concepts (RTC) specializes in unexpectedly cool, customized LCD and LED HDTVs. Previously, it has made TVs for sports team and Marvel comics fans, and now it is taking a step towards satisfying gamers as well. RTC has gotten the official “go ahead” from Capcom to make what could be one of the most expensive Street Fighter IV tie-in products – the Super Street Fighter IV LED HDTVs.
RTC hasn’t announced a price or exact release date for the Super Street Fighter IV TVs yet, but it has offered some details on what people can expect. The HDTV, as you can see from the image at the right, is multicolored and has the Super Street Fighter IV logo centered below the screen. Each time you turn it on…
Hardware stolen at Super Street Fighter IV event, cash reward offered for thieved video files
This may be one of the clearest indications of a gamer mentality.
Art group I Am 8-Bit recently hosted a Super Street Fighter IV launch part in Los Angeles, CA (USA) on Friday, April 22, 2010. Apparently a good time was had by all but there was a tragedy.
Some tech was taken including HD cameras, SD cards and a MacBook Pro. I was initially suspicious that those were actually giveaway items and this was a publicity stunt until I read the complete email sent by group founder, Jon M. Gibson.
Japan Import: Super Street Fighter IV headed to Japanese arcades
Playing Street Fighter on a console is all well and good, but there’s just something special about playing it on an arcade machine. Maybe it’s the atmosphere, maybe it’s the different control scheme, maybe it’s the fact you’ll have to pop in more quarters if you lose, but it’s just a whole different experience. So Street Fighter IV fans will be pleased to know that Capcom is preparing an arcade release of Super Street Fighter IV to accompany the console releases.
Yoshinori Ono, producer of Street Fighter IV confirmed the arcade release. Ono was attending an April, 2010 3v3 Street Fighter IV National Championship Tournament in Japan, and made the Super Street Fighter IV arcade announcement there…

Capcom’s Captivate 10 is now over, and we all have a better idea of what the company is planning for gamers in 2010 and 2011. At the Hawaiian event, Capcom announced five new games, DLC for three games and some interesting Dead Rising 2 news and content.

This goal in this action game is fight as samurai warriors and master their abilities as you work your way towards the Battle of Sekigahara, which took place on October 21, 1600 in Sekigahara, Japan. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is also coming in 2010, though it won’t be out for the DS until this winter. You play as Sissel, the amnesiac ghost of a murdered man who’s searching for his memories and the truth behind his death while also helping others…
