Sorry guys, Kmart won’t have free Batman: Arkham City t-shirts [Update]

We’ve just learned of some slightly bad news for those who were going to visit Kmart next week to purchase Batman: Arkham City. Kmart was originally going to honor purchases with a $30 gaming coupon and a free Arkham City t-shirt. Unfortunately, the t-shirt part of the deal has fallen through. KmartGamer says a “logistical issue” has prevented Warner from shipping the t-shirts to stores.

Mario garb for little guys

Currently available at several of your local retails clothing establishments are shirts themed for wee games.

For only $7.99 (plus tax) at Target I found a Nintendo shirt that reads “Power Player” on the top, “Super Mario” on the bottom and features a colorful montage of the most recognizable Super Mario characters including Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Princess Peach, Toad, a Goomba, a flying turtle and Donkey Kong. There was also a shirt that features a large shot of Mario’s smiling mug (also $7.99).

C2E2 2010: Threadless Tees unleashes a new comic book in the form of eight t-shirts

Threadless tees, the maker of some rather zany t-shirts, announced this Saturday (April 17, 2010) at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) that they will be unleashing a series of eight t-shirts that will actually show an entire comic. This will be the first time a comic book has ever been shown through a series of shirts. Each shirt will show a panel, one on the front and one on the back, and the whole comic will be told through all eight shirts. The eighth shirt will reveal the end, naturally…

Sony Home Update: A frightening new world has opened, more goodies at the mall

A frightening world has just opened on Sony’s PlayStation HOME and I do warn you. It’s not for the faint at heart. On Thursday, May 7, 2009, the world of Siren: Blood Curse opened featuring the swamp scene from the game as a lounge and an entrance to the hospital complete with a crazy nurse behind the counter challenging you to escape the hospital within 5 minutes. Bodies of victims and zombie nurse (called Shinto) standees stand in front of the hospital for photo ops for those players with the camera feature on their virtual PSP. To play just see the nurse as you enter the Ward of Despair and be prepared to move like the wind.

Once inside the replica of the hospital’s first floor five players must work together to gather the missing items, distract the shinto (zombie nurses) and escape the basement as fast as they can armed with only a flashlight…
