Important Importables Review: Taiko no Tatsujin Portable DX for PSP
While the Taiko no Tatsujin (Taiko Drum Master) series never really found a lot of success outside of Japan, it’s a Namco Bandai staple. The games offer the taiko drum experience, combined with cute characters and popular classic, pop, anime and game music. The purest form is to find an arcade with the machine that actually has a drum controller to beat on, with the console versions being a close second, but the portable incarnations of the games have become better and better at replicating the experience. Japan Import: Taiko Drum Master Wii: Everyone’s Party 3 has lots of cameos
Taiko Drum Master Wii: Everyone’s Party 3, the latest Taiko Drum Master (Taiko no Tatsujin) game, is going to have a lot of famous faces appearing in it. The famous anthropomorphic drum characters Don and Katsu will be joined by Idolm@ster, Monster Hunter and even Super Mario characters.
Said characters won’t be playable though…
Tokyo Game Show 2008: Namco Bandai booth hands-on highlights
There were many games available for play at this year’s Namco Bandai booth but there were a particular few that caught my eye: Fragile: Sayonara Tsuki no Haikyo, Taiko no Tatsujin, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2, and The Idolmaster SP.
