It could be argued that the video game basketball battle has been a one-horse race for years. EA’s decision to postpone the release of NBA Elite 11 likely made it official. EA’s best hope was that NBA 2K11 took a step back, leaving fans thirsty for another b-ball option.

There are few feats in sports tougher than pitching a perfect game (one in which no member of the opposing team reaches base) in pro baseball. It’s so tough, in fact, that 2K Sports will award a cool $1,000,000 to the first player to do so in MLB 2K10 on Xbox 360 or PS3. Gamers will have 60 days to attempt this starting March 2, 2010 at 12:01 AM PST and ending on May 2, 2010 at 11:59 PM PDT.
