EA gets to make Robert Ludlum games – a Jason Bourne game’s up first
Get ready to see Jason Bourne games from EA. The company has just finished talks with Ludlum Entertainment and walked away with the right to make video games based on Robert Ludlum novels. As you may recall, he wrote the The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, which inspired the movies starring Matt Damon.
So far one game has been announced as a result of this deal, though we don’t know all that much about yet. It will be a Bourne game, and it is being developed by Starbreeze Studios. A title hasn’t been released, and it is unknown if the game will follow the plot of any of the books or movies…
Vivendi Mobile Games introduces games for the first half of 2008
A recent press release from Vivendi Games Mobile revealed all of the company’s planned cell phone titles for the first half of 2008. A wide variety of genres and licenses can be expected in the coming year, such as The Bourne Conspiracy, Celebrity Hangman, Crash Nitro Kart 2, Prison Break, Pub Darts 180 and Wordox: Word Snatcher. The first title to hit cell phones will be a mobile version of The Spiderwick Chronicles, which should be available through providers before the end of February, 2008.
