Lucas Arts and Telltale Games plan to return to Monkey Island

Today is a phenomenal day for fans of the LucasArts classic series of adventure games Monkey Island. LucasArts and Telltale games have chosen E3 2009 to announce that there are two new Monkey Island games in the works, Tales of Monkey Island and The Secret of Monkey Island.

The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition is LucasArts’ reimagining of the 1990 computer game, The Secret of Monkey Island, for Xbox Live Arcade and PCs. A release date hasn’t been set, but it will be out sometime in Summer, 2009…
