the sims 3: ambitions
Target giving gift cards with games and iPods July 18-24, 2010
Target has a few select game sales that will be running from July 18-24, 2010. The only downside is, for some of them, you still need to be willing to spend a lot of money for the good deals to apply. There are a few computer video games which don’t fall into that category, but more of the other games do.
For example, you can get a $20 Target gift card when you buy two video games or game accessories. The catch is, both of the items you buy have to cost over $39.99 so you need to spend at least $79.98 to get the gift card. The Target ad that will be included in your Sunday newspaper tomorrow shows a sampling of some of the games and accessories that are part of the promotion, but really any video game or peripheral in your local Target that’s over $39.99 applies.
In other Target gift card news, you can get one if you buy an iPod Touch or iPod Nano…
The Sims 3 new expansion pack gets ambitious
EA has just announced another The Sims 3 expansion pack. I know, it’s shocking. I’ll give you a moment to process it.
It’s expected, considering how many expansions The Sims (7) and The Sims 2 (8) had. The Sims 3: Ambitions is all about jobs. Hey, World Adventures don’t just finance themselves!
The Sims 3: Ambitions will not only add lots of extra jobs though, it will also allow players to follow their sims while they are at work. This is a first for the series, as normally sims will just get in a car, head to work, and then time will speed up until the work day ends. Now, players will get to see their sims work and decide how to handle situations at their jobs. This will effect their character’s career success.
The press release also mentions a handful of the new careers that will be included in the expansion. Here’s a quick list…
