Cowabunga! New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game announced

Ok, this is the one case where the term “Shell-ebration” can be used unironically, and I won’t cringe. Destructoid is reporting on Ubisoft’s official announcement that a new TMNT game is in the works for the Nintendo Wii. According to a very enthusiastic press release, the game will be developed by Super Smash Bros. Brawl dev Game Arts, and is meant to commemorate the Turtles’ 25th anniversary. The few screens look fairly brawler or fighter-like, but the graphics look pretty nice for a Wii title. I know that’s a cliche, but truth is truth.

Bomberman voted best Xbox Live Arcade game of 2007

A lot of lesser known, smaller games got their moments in the sun at the Game Developers Conference, but that didn’t mean there wasn’t any love for more established, smaller sized games. Xbox Live’s Arcade has been one of the providers of tiny games that get you and all your friends buzzing for a week and a half. At GDC 2008, the results of a community vote for 2007′s batch of Live Arcade games was unveiled. Any chance Space Giraffe took top honors?
