First Annual Toy, Game, and Technology Summit announced
There’s a new games-related event in town. The first annual Toy, Game, and Technology Summit will take place on September 22-23, 2010 in Santa Clara, California. This summit will allow those in the toy, video game, and tech (hence the name) industries to brainstorm new ideas, network, and discuss their respective businesses.
Japan Import: Capcom’s stuffed Chibiterasu is the cutest thing ever
There’s no better way to start your day than with a dose of cuteness. If you live in Japan, or know someone who lives there that’d be willing to do some importing for you, you can pick up the most adorable video game-related plush toy ever. Capcom has just announced that it will be selling a stuffed Chibiterasu toy in Japan. So you can play as Chibiterasu in the DS game Okamiden while cuddling your own Chibiterasu.

Valve releases plush Left 4 Dead Boomer zombie
If you love Left 4 Dead, or really zombies of any kind, and have a spare $50 lying around, then you need to head to The Valve Store. Seriously, I’m not kidding. See, Valve is now selling Boomer, the first of five “Infected” stuffed toys based on monsters from the Windows and Xbox 360 game Left 4 Dead 2.
Boomer, like all of the five Left 4 Dead plushies comes with quite a pedigree. Alexandria Neonakis, designer of Valve’s Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 greeting cards, created the designs for all of the stuffed toys.
