You get a new London-based developer called Hutch and its first game entitled Smash Cops. Smash Cops will be released in the middle of January for iOS.
Epic Games moves in a new direction with Fortnite
Naughty Dog wasn’t the only developer that announced something completely unexpected at the VGAs last night. Epic Games also unveiled one of its latest projects that doesn’t appear to be anything like the studio has put out recently. The game is called Fortnite, and it’s not something that involves guys carrying big guns and wearing heavy armor.
Naughty Dog reveals its latest post-apocalyptic game, The Last of Us
Naughty Dog is taking a big step back from the world of Uncharted in its next PS3 exclusive game called The Last of Us. We were teased about this title in the days leading up to the Spike TV Video Game Awards, and now it’s all clear. The Last of Us is a post-apocalyptic game, but the world was not destroyed by bombs or an alien threat. The culprit this time is a modern plague.
Grand Theft Auto V takes us back to the west coast
As promised, the debut trailer for Grand Theft Auto V was released today. It’s almost a minute and half long and it doesn’t do much to clue us in on what the game’s plot will be. We can say with certainty that Rockstar is taking us back to the California inspired setting that was introduced in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. All in all, it looks like a GTA game.
Grand Theft Auto V made official with first trailer coming soon
Just a few days after the tenth anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III, Rockstar Games plastered the front end of its site with a giant confirmation of Grand Theft Auto V. There are no details about the game right now, but we won’t have to wait much longer. Assuming no information leaks out, the debut trailer for GTA V will be made public on November 2, 2011.
First Max Payne 3 trailer finally released
Rockstar wasn’t kidding said it was going to be revealing a lot more Max Payne 3 details. It started out with a couple screenshots, but we were soon hit with a March 2012 release window. Today, Rockstar released a minute and a half trailer from Max Payne 3 that’s comprised entirely of in-game footage.
Latest Mass Effect 3 trailer is Reaper-licious
So even though we got to see lots of Mass Effect 3 footage last week, thanks to E3 2011, BioWare thinks we need more. So it’s released an additional trailer this week called “Fall of Earth” that shows, well, the fall of Earth. It looks like there are some other planets in there too. While there’s some new cutscene footage to look over, this trailer also has more combat footage than we’ve seen before.
I think this trailer also shows more Reapers than ever before as well. I’m watching through the one and a half minute trailer right now and I’ve counted…
First in-game footage from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Bethesda released the first in-game footage from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim this morning in the form of a nearly three minute long trailer. It doesn’t matter whether or not you’re willing to name your kid Dovahkiin in order for you to enjoy this video. This brief look at Skyrim looks to be leaps and bounds over Oblivion from a graphical standpoint. Once you view the trailer, you’ll think so too.
The first Replika trailer finally appears
We’ve heard buzzing about Replika, Biodroid’s PS3 exclusive, since April 2010, and now, for the first time, we get a glimpse of it. It’s been a year, but we finally get to see a trailer for this illusive game. Don’t get too excited about it though, or expect luxuries like gameplay footage.
See for yourself…
