Wii-esque budget game system V-sports hits Japan
Wiis can still be difficult to find, and even if you do happen to come across one, it’ll cost you upwards of $249.99 to pick up a console. Its time for the Vii 2, V-Sports. Rumdes is displaying the latest version of the Wii-copycat console that comes with a motion controller, includes Wii Sports-esque games and other titles, is available three different color schemes and runs on two AA batteries. It costs ¥7,980/$80.
While it isn’t as technologically advanced as the official system, it does offer a quite a few games for the money. V-Sports comes with 21 games. Based on images from technabob, the games included appear to be tennis, fishing, a dancing game, mini-golf, ping pong, bowling, a Cooking Mama clone, a Balloon Fight clone, darts, baseball, a Columns clone, a Tetris clone and an Alleyway clone.
