2011 included a landmark ruling in video game law. On June 27, 2011, the Supreme Court ruled 7-2 that a California law banning the sale of violent video games to minors was unconstitutional.

Being disbarred by the state of Florida hasn’t stopped Jack Thompson from making enemies, headlines or legal trouble. His latest effort is a lawsuit against social networking mainstay Facebook, claiming the site should remove comments threatening Thompson.
