Sony Home Update: New spaces, new stores, more items galore

The PlayStation Home has been updated with three new spaces to new stores at the mall and more stuff than you can shake a stick at. And like a 3-year-old in the candy isle at WalMart, I’m hopped up on digital eye candy and screaming my head off for a bag of flavored treats!

Sony Home Update: Alternate reality game Xi: The Hub finally arrives

For the past few months since the opening of Home on the PlayStation Network, there have been cryptic messages left on our virtual PSPs. No one really knew what it meant and I don’t think they cared as long as the worlds kept opening new playing fields for the thousands of PlayStation 3 users. It spoke of portals, elevators and a search for someone lost within the Matrix of this virtual Home world simply called Xi.

Hasbro launches Littlest Pet Shop interactive pets

Ganz just had to go and start something with their Webkinz. First one company starts an online virtual pet/real life toy combo and then everybody else has to do it too. The latest group to jump on the bandwagon is Hasbro with an extension of their Littlest Pet Shop line. On November 14, 2007, Pileated Pictures announced it has teamed with Hasbro to create Littlest Pet Shop VIPs microsite at the Littlest Pet Shop website. The VIPs part stands for Virtual Interactive Pets. Littlest Pet Shop VIPs is a browser-based pet raising game.
