Walmart December 4-10 sales ad has a couple handfuls of discounted games
roof of the holiday season hit me quite hard on Saturday when I saw an absolute flood of people at Best Buy. I didn’t enter a Walmart, but I’d imagine the scene wasn’t any better. Keep that in mind if you plan on venturing out to Walmart sometime next week as holiday pricing is in full effect.

Walmart starts rolling out pre-Black Friday deals
Not to be bested by Amazon and its countdown to Black Friday sales bonanza, Walmart has announced a Super Saturday sales event that will take place November 5. According to its press release, the discounted prices on certain items will remain until midnight, or until stores run out of stock. There are only a handful of gaming-related items, but they just may be something that interests you. Walmart also brought back its layaway option for the holidays, so that’s also something to consider.
Walmart accidently lists permanent Kinect bundle discount
Last week, Walmart printed a heck of a deal in its weekly ad. The retailer listed the 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle for $249, effectively putting it on the same playing field as the recently discounted 160GB PS3. It turns out Walmart didn’t mean to imply to the price drop was permanent by calling it a “rollback.” It was all a mistake.

Well, there’s now another option. Walmart is going to carry the bundle too, at a price of $499.96, and there’s a way to get Resistance 3 with it there too…

3DS is now $169.99 at Target
It looks like Walmart isn’t the only one jumping on the early 3DS price drop train. Target bought a ticket too! It turns out the other big box store has decided that it also can’t wait until August 12, 2011, when the 3DS’ price is set to officially drop from $249.99 to $169.99. If you had to your local Target today (August 10, 2011), you can get your new handheld for the lower price.
This news comes one day after Walmart’s price drop…
Walmart may apply 3DS price drop early
Don’t buy a Nintendo 3DS right now. The price is going to drop to $169.99 on August 12. Furthermore, anyone who purchases a 3DS before then will be official Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors. This prestigious title will grant every “early” 3DS owner access to 10 Game Boy Advance Virtual Console games and 10 NES Virtual Console Games. However, Walmart may drop the price ahead of the official date.
