Gamertell’s 10 best DS games released in 2010

2010 was a great year for DS games, with many anticipated games being released. Plus, it wasn’t just a good year for one kind of gamer. All genres were pretty equally represented so everyone had something to look forward to and play. It also wasn’t a year completely dominated by big name developers and publishers, like Square Enix, and a number of smaller developers and publishers’ games really stood out.

E3 2009: Best of the handhelds (PSP & DS)

E3 2009 has come and gone in a fluster of press conferences, announcements and releases. Now’s a good time to sit back and regroup, taking time to process the new wealth of information we possess.

The handheld consoles did particularly well this year. The DS had quite a few interesting game announcements that surely delighted the system’s fans. The PSP also had quite a few big name game announcements, as well as a whole new model debut.

E3 2009: Prepare to make your own microgames in WarioWare DIY

Everyone pretty much expected to see WarioWare: Made in Ore appear at E3 2009 in some way, but it’s always good to have a theory validated. Nintendo announced during it’s E3 2009 press conference that the DS game which allows you to create and share your own WarioWare microgames will be released outside of Japan. A release date hasn’t been announced, but it is on it’s way.

WarioWare DIY is probably one of the most creative DS titles available. Players are given complete freedom to create their own WarioWare microgames. You draw the graphics, create the challenges and make the music. It’s all about you.
