If there’s a major game release these days, chances are it’s going to have 3D capabilities. Batman: Arkham City will be no different in that regard. However, Arkham City supports more than just stereoscopic 3D. We’ll also be able to play the game in anaglyphic 3D for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Heavy Rain is one of the best examples of a modern game that feels like a movie. This feeling was encouraged by the limited interaction players would have outside of scripted sequences. Some people (like myself) felt Heavy Rain‘s story was one of the best in 2010. Others saw it as a garbled mess. Hollywood sees it as a good opportunity to make some money.

The PS3 beta for DC Universe Online is in full swing. Everyone who is a PlayStation Plus subscribers (or has access to a beta code) can begin downloading the huge game right now. I’ve played the game for several hours and can say I feel confident in what’s there. However the game is not without its flaws. That’s what the beta is for. Sony is listening to the feedback players are giving and will release a patch that addresses some of the top concerns.

It’s a given that a children’s movie is going to inspire a video game, so the Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole games shouldn’t come as a huge surprise.
