Exclusive Interview: THQ producer talks about upcoming Wheel of Fortune game
Gamertell spoke with THQ game producer, Adam Affrunti, about the latest Wheel of Fortune game (to be released November 2, 2010, for Wii and DS). Now, before you start groaning and bemoaning this as yet another typical iteration of this most famous of game shows turned video game, you might be surprised to learn that this game has aspects unlike it’s predecessors. And it was almost based on the show’s original format.
Gamertell Review: Wheel of Fortune for iPhone, iPod Touch
Ah, yes, The familiar chant of the audience that begins each show, as well as this game. The clings, the clangs and the weird melodies that accompany each puzzle. So very memorable. From there you can pretty much forget Pat Sajak or Vanna White in this game.
Even so, the iPhone and iPod Touch release of Wheel of Fortune version holds up pretty well, utilizing the touchscreen so you can you actually spin that infamous wheel (I haven’t played all the countless video game releases over the past 20+ years but I’m pretty sure that’s a first.)
Playstation Store Update: Booty & Fortunes Edition (March 19 to March 25, 2009)
This week’s Playstation Store Update is highlighted by a price drop for Ratchet & Clank’s latest adventure: Quest for Booty. Now retailing at a mere $10, it is a good deal for those who failed to catch it the first time. Also, for those fans of Wheel of Fortune who would look forward to every single day of Pat’s appearance, a chance to participate in the festivities is yours for a mere $15.
