Noire‘s debut and the recent Wii bundle price drop. So if you need Wii games to go with your new $149.99 Wii or want to get something extra when you buy L.A. Noire, keep this store in mind…

Select Xbox 360 systems will also come with a $50 gift card, so you may want to stop by if you want a $199.99 4gb or $299.99 250gb Xbox 360…

This is a Wii Remote made of LEGO bricks

If life has taught me one thing, it’s this. LEGO bricks posses an unnatural power that bring smiles to nearly everyone who comes in contact with them. Infusing LEGO’s into everyday products is a win-win situation. If LEGO made an adult size office chair, I would be sitting in it right now. Until then, this LEGO Wii Remote will have to satisfy my needs.

The Wii is getting a new controller

In the beginning there was the old fashioned Wii Remote. It’s motion control capabilities were decent, but nowhere near perfect. Then came a little accessory called Wii MotionPlus. By connecting this to your existing Wii Remote, you were given as close to 1:1 motion that Nintendo could offer. Now Nintendo has decided to permanently meld the Wii Remote and Wii MotionPlus together in a new controller it’s calling Wii Remote Plus.

Wii Party comes with Wii remote

You’re getting more than a game when you pick up Wii Party, you’re getting a game and a controller. Nintendo has just announced that the party game will include a Wii remote. I mean, it is a multiplayer game and you’ll want to play it with someone. So now you can do that right out of the box.

Wii Party is a board game and mini-game collection, with 13 different modes…

Get clean with Game Boy, PSP and iPhone soaps

If you’re a real gamer, then you better smell like it. And, thanks to Two Eggplants, you could smell like nutella, peppermint, amaretto, cheese pizza or many other delightful things. Two Eggplants specializes in custom soaps and has a fantastic selection geared towards gamers. For example, you could pick up a soapy Game Boy, PSP or iPhone. There are even PS2 controllers and Wii remotes made out of soap.

The price varies by product. The most inexpensive is the cheese pizza-scented PS2 controller for $6.50. A soap iPhone or PSP will run you around $9.99. The most expensive, and intricate, is the Game Boy soap at $14.99…

WiiMote vs. Move vs. Kinect: Comparing control schemes in the three-way battle for motion control

The battle royale for motion control domination is about to get a bit more serious between Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft.

E3 2010 may have been the first time that all three companies were in the same building with fully operational, possibly final versions, of motion control devices we could actually touch – or, as the case with Kinect, not touch – and give a try. By the end of the year (2010) we expect all three to be in gamers’ homes.

While Sony and Microsoft are playing a bit of catch-up with Nintendo, that doesn’t necessarily mean the WiiMote will rule the game room when it comes to the new wave in game control tech.

Here’s a competitive overview of each of the three motion control schemes based on time spent playing with each (for the Move and Kinect, on the E3 2010 floor) noting the benefits and faults of each.

Feel like a fake driver with the inflatable Wii racing Kart

So maybe simulating Mario Kart with those toy replicas wasn’t quite enough for the avid gamer. What if we told you there is life size racing kart that you can sit in while you play Mario Kart?

Sony says Move is about skill

/> PlayStation Move has a lot to prove. It’s already being dismissed as a Wii Remote clone months ahead of its release. In many ways these accusations seem to be true. Move needs two controllers to get the full experience like the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, and the majority of software we’ve seen are party games designed to waste time. Sony wants people to see Move as something other than Wii HD.
