We first heard about the Wiimote Plus in September. It was listed on the cover art of an upcoming Nintendo published game called FlingSmash. Nintendo has confirmed the new controller since then. The best thing about this deal is that no new Wii owner will be left behind.

Wheels are in motion and the inevitable could finally be happening – North America might just be getting its black Wii. Kotaku has reported that multiple retail stores (GameStop and Target among them) have reported signs of a new Wii color.

Gamertell Review: Wii Sports Resort for Wii

Wii Sports Resort may at times come off like a tech demo for the new Wii MotionPlus accessory, but is there anything wrong with that? By offering nearly 1:1 motion capturing, reflecting motions in a 3D space, the Wii MotionPlus brings a level of control to your WiiMote that simply wasn’t possible before. And that brings games to your Wii that weren’t this fun before. And yet, it’s not the Wii MotionPlus that makes Wii Sports Resort so great.
