If you happen to pick up an early edition of the Sunday, December 5, 2010 paper, you’ll find Best Buy’s latest ad inside, waiting for you. There are two full pages devoted to video games this time, with one fourth of that being devoted to showing off World of Warcraft deals. Yes, the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion comes out December 7, 2010, and a number of Best Buy stores will even have midnight openings for it. But remember, there are regular video game deals there from December 5 – 11, 2010 too…

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm changes everything December 7, 2010

The World of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion is coming soon. Just in time for Christmas, to be exact. The $39.99 expansion pack will make its mark on December 7, 2010. Which means on December 8, lots of WoW players will probably be taking a sick day from work or school. As usual, it’ll be available in the Blizzard Store if people want to download, but it may be better to go with a retail copy, as those will supposedly have some exclusive items.

PAX 2009: First look at World of Warcraft Cataclysm

Blizzard was offering hands-on experience of their newest World of Warcraft Expansion, Cataclysm. The demos were strictly limited to the intros to the two new playable races: the Worgen (werewolves who fight on the Alliance side) and Goblins (gadgeteers who battle for the Horde). Here’s a quick run down on the intro for the warrior classes in both races.
