Fan Expo Canada to host World Series of Videogames 2007
The largest video game tournament ever to take place in Canada is bound to bring big name professional gamers world wide to the Fan Expo Canada at the Metro Convention Center in Toronto on August 24 through 26, 2007, with more than $75,000 in cash prizes to be awarded to the winners in games including World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, Guitar Hero II and Quake 4 to name a few.

Intel has partnered up with the World Series of Video Games to bring the venerable competition to our northern neighbors. August 24th through the 26th will see the tournament held at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. World Series of Videogames in Louisville, KY
Now in its second competitive season, The World Series of Video Games held an event in Louisville, KY, from June 21 through June 24, 2007. A total of $90,000 in prize money was handed out to the top finishers this past weekend.
Louisville’s event featured players competing in Counter-Strike, World of Warcraft, Warcraft 3, Guitar Hero II, Quake 4 and Fight Night Round 3.
