If video game characters aged realistically

Artist Katie Hampton has created some amusing images that feature classic video game characters aging in real-life situations. Most of her drawings focused on classic Nintendo characters.

The quality of the tracks are of high quality. There are 47 tracks to enjoy. SMG2 has a soundtrack that is heavily orchestrated. It reminds me of a Disney movie soundtrack in the best possible way. Mario Kart RC racer is the best thing ever

These racers are officially licensed replicas from Mario Kart. You can purchase either Mario, Donkey Kong or Yoshi for $39.99 each. The cars are controlled by a remote that is modeled after the GameCube controller. If you’ve played a GameCube in the past, you already know how this works. The controller also has a turbo button and plays sound clips from Mario games.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 stars Mario, Yoshi and Luigi

As Super Mario Galaxy 2‘s May 23, 2010 release date draws nearer, Nintendo is revealing more secrets about its forthcoming Wii game. It’s not like there’d be any point keeping it a secret until the game launched. The latest revelation is quite a surprise, but a welcome one! It turns out Mario isn’t the only brother exploring the galaxy!

This time, it looks like Luigi is going to steal some of the spotlight for himself. Nintendo didn’t reveal any information on how players can play as Luigi instead of Mario, but did send a neat trailer and some cool screenshots onto the internet.

Wii Virtual Console update for the week of July 9-15, 2007

This week on the virtual console, we have two NES titles: puzzler Yoshi and futuristic racer Mach Rider, along with TurboGrafx-16 shooter Air “Zonk”, bringing the total to 115 titles on the VC. All games will be made available today (July 9, 2007) at 9 a.m. PST on the Wii shop channel.

Donkey Kong and Yoshi plush dolls from Japan

J-List (and J-Box for gamers 18 and under), Peter Payne’s site that specializes in all thing Japanese, has posted a few new videogame related items.
