Leaf announced today that it will be debuting new Crestron modules for its 4×4 (LTHDMI44P), 6×6 (LTHDMI66P), 8×8 (LTHDMI88E) and 20×20 (LTHDMI2020E) HDMI/HDBaseT Matrix Switches at this year’s CEDIA EXPO. The modules, developed by Control Concepts, Inc. (CCI), were designed to give integrators and Crestron programmers easier access to the features and functionality of the matrices, including their zone-lock capabilities, auto calibration, independent audio routing, and audio matrixing.
In addition to the core Crestron modules themselves, Control Concepts will be offering Crestron dealers a complete packet that includes a sample control program, a sample user interface, and complete documentation. The company will also be providing ongoing optional maintenance and support, which includes future modification of the modules, if needed.
From the press release:
“The relationship we’ve formed with Control Concepts in the development of these Crestron control modules has been particularly exciting for two reasons”, says Danny Webb, North American Sales and Marketing Manager at Leaf. “Firstly, it’s given us new and greater insight into how our HDMI/HDBaseT matrices are being deployed in advanced automation systems; and secondly, it represents the latest—and perhaps the largest—initiative in Leaf’s continued expansion in the CEDIA market.”
