Dolby DHC-80.6

Integra today added to its 2014 lineup of Dolby Atmos-enabled A/V receivers and preamp processors. The additions are the DTR-50.6, DTR-60.6, DTR-70.6 and DHC-80.6, all of which are also THX-certified, and support HDMI 2.0 for 4K/60Hz and HDCP 2.2 copy protection.

Dobly Atmos takes “surround sound” to the next level by adding overhead sounds to your audio mix. Learn more about Atmos here.

The new models also support HDBaseT technology, which transmits HDMI signals over longer distances than was previously possible — even throughout the home.

The DHC-80.6 is a THX Ultra2 Plus Certified 11.2-channel network A/V preamp processor; the DTR-70.6 is an 11.2-channel, THX Select2 Plus network A/V receiver; the DTR-60.5 is a 9.2-channel THX Select2 Plus network A/V receiver; and the DTR-50.6m is a THX Select2 Plus network A/V receiver.

The accompanying Integra smartphone app enables you to select streaming services, internet radio channels and network audio files to play through the receivers, including high-resolution FLAC, DSD, ALAC, HD 24/96 and HD 24/192 formats.

All models also include proprietary AccuEQ room calibration and selectable ISF video calibration.

The DTR-50.6 ($1,700), along with the previously announced DTR-30.6 and DTR-40.6, all shipping now, will receive a firmware update in September to support Atmos. The DTR-60.6 ($2,300), DTR-70.6 ($2,800) and DHC-80.6 ($3,200), all of which will ship in October, will support Atmos out of the box.
