What is BlueBOLT?

On Thursday, July 15, 2010, Panamax/Furman announced they’re giving away a trip to Wine Country in Sonoma County, California as a part of their How Do You BlueBOLT? contest.

For those who aren’t hip: BlueBOLT is a web-based platform that allows homeowners to manage their audio/video entertainment systems and how it uses power from anywhere around the world, with plug-and-play setup and minimal configuration. It also alerts homeowners of possible damaging power surges or energy spikes through email.

Check out this out this video introduction to BlueBOLT, and then read on below for more information about the contest.

How to win a Trip to Sonoma

Panamax and Furman are looking for homeowners who have interacted with BlueBOLT to share their experience now through December 31, 2010, for a chance to win a trip for two to Wine Country in Sonoma County, California.

If you don’t already own a BlueBOLT-compatible power management system, you can still participate in the contest, of course. You’ll just need to learn a bit about the technology by watching the BlueBOLT orientation video found at, taking a quick quiz, and entering the certification code you receive into the main entry form at The chances of winning are based on the number of valid entries received.

The drawing is random and grand prize winners will receive a two round trip flights for two adults ages 21 or older to Sonoma, California, and includes two nights’ lodging, a day tour of Sonoma Wine Country Vintners, and five meals, including one dinner at a fine restaurant. For more details about the prizes, visit the How Do You BlueBOLT? contest page.
