The only thing I love more than consumer electronics is a good deal on consumer electronics, but even I have to wonder if we’re taking this whole Black Friday thing too far. Hot on the heels of the news that Walmart is kicking off its Black Friday shenanigans at midnight (although the CE deals don’t hit until 5 a.m.), Kmart has upped the ante by opening stores on Thanksgiving Day, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. And its electronics deals are plentiful.

Highlights include:

  • Curtis DVD1041 DVD player for $19.99
  • Disney Cars or Princess 7-inch Portable DVD Player for $89.99
  • Panasonic DMP-BD45P-K Blu-Ray Disc Player for $79.99 (with a free Original Christmas Classics Blu-ray gift set)
  • Sylvania SDVD7015 7" Portable DVD Player for $49.99
  • RCA ANT1400 Omnidirectional Digital Antenna for $14.99
