The iPhone, with its intuitive touch screen, set off a revolution in the consumer electronics world. These days for a new product to be taken seriously, a fancy and easy to use touch screen seems to be a necessity. Grace Digital Audio is the latest company to acknowledge this trend toward touch with three new Internet Radios featuring color screens.
Only one model out of the three–the Solo Touch (GDI-IRTSC12)–is actually equipped with a touch screen, but the Bravado X (GDI-IRD4500) and the Mondo (GDI-IRC6000) feature color screens that are organized very much like an iPhone.
The Solo Touch, which retails for $249.99, boasts a 4.3-inch touch screen and includes a remote control, Ethernet connection, RCA out jacks, and a headphone connection. The Bravado X ($179.99) is a WiFi tabletop radio with a 2.7-inch TFT color display, RCA in/out jacks, USB, and a headphone connection. The Mondo ($169.99), which should function well on a nightstand, has a 3.5-inch TFT color display, snooze control, and an alarm function. The Mondo also includes a remote control, Ethernet connection, RCA out jacks, and a USB connection.
