Little Fockers Brings a Bundle of Blu-ray

Little Fockers on Blu-rayThird time’s the charm for the Fockers, who add a baby to the dysfunctional family mix in this sequel to Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers, which hits store shelves on April 5, 2011.

The Blu-ray release will be packaged as a Blu-ray+DVD Combo Pack featuring an alternate opening and ending. Universal Studios Home Entertainment will also offer the ability to stream a bonus move to TV or smartphone and rent additional movies for $2.99, for a limited time after the release of the film.

Bonus features also include two featurettes, BD-Live, and pocket Blu*. Featurettes include Bob and Ben: Cast members Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro reflect on their history in their characters’ evolution throughout the Meet the Parents trilogy; and Ben and Owen: On average, every 1.3 years Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller share the silver screen. Little Fockers marks their 10th movie together. In this dual interview, Ben and Owen reveal the secrets of their shared success. Features also available on the DVD will include a gag reel, deleted scenes, and The Focker Foot Locker: a string of clips from the film of every time someone utters a version of “Focker.”

*pocket Blu is an app for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Blackberry, Nokia smartphone, Android, PC, and Mac that works seamlessly to network-connected Blu-ray players. With this app consumers will be able to browse through a library of Blu-ray content and watch extras in any format. Pocket BLU’s features include advanced remote control, video timeline, mobile-to-go, the ability to browse titles and keyboard access.
