Iogear“Grandpa, what’s a wire?”

I imagine such a conversation with my future grandkids is likely to occur. Technology companies seem to be living by the same mantra: if it ain’t wireless, it ain’t cool. And as we continue to move toward a wireless world, products such as the IOGEAR Universal Wi-Fi N Adapter become increasingly essential for those who want to stay connected.

The Universal Wi-Fi N Adapter (GWU627), which supports the IEEE™ 802.11n standard, is compatible with any device that features an Ethernet port. Iogear’s Adapter is also powerful enough that latency or buffering should not be an issue. The GWU627 has dual 1T1R antennas for transfer rates of up to 150Mbps, perfect for video streaming, online gaming, and high definition content. IOGEAR’s adapter is also compatible with 802.11b/g routers and access points, which eliminates the need for a full home networking upgrade. The device features a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button for quick security and will automatically configure with a network name and WPA data encryption and authentication.

The GWU627 is now shipping and retails for $49.95. For more information visit Iogear or call 866.946.4327.
