Jane Eyre Destined to be a Classic on Blu-ray

The 2011 film Jane Eyre, based on the Charlotte Bronte classic romantic novel, will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Download, and On-Demand August 26. The release will be from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.

The film stars Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland, The Kids Are Alright), Michael Fassbender (Inglorious Basterds, Hunger), Jamie Bell (The Eagle, Jumper), and Academy Award-winning actress Dame Judi Dench (Shakespear in Love, Chocolat). In this telling, Jane (Wasikowska), a plain-faced and passionate governess flees Thornfield House, after becoming the mistress of the head of the household. While she recouperates at Moor House, she remains haunted by a tumultuous past, which include grave secrets.
