Seven SeriesToday we’re going to spend some time talking about the General Securities Representative Exam. Most people know the exam as the “Series 7″ and once you’ve passed it you’ll…

What’s that now? The Seven Series speakers from Leon? Oh, of course.

Leon produces amazing handcrafted custom speakers and the new 2011 models in the Seven Series are no exception. The center channel, surround, and floor-standing left and right speakers in the Seven Series are built with solid billet aluminum and solid-core Baltic birch for a luxurious look on the outside and state-of-the-art components on the inside. The Seven Series features a new driver array with magnesium cone woofers and silk dome tweeters. Leon has included complete point-to-point wiring with high-quality cabling and binding posts for better signal transmission and extremely natural sound.

The Seven-Center is 10-inches tall by six-inches deep with a width that can be built to spec. The center speaker includes four seven-inch Eton Hexacone woofers, and one one-inch Morel ET-338 tweeter. The timbre-matched Seven-Surrounds are 10-inches wide, 24-inches high, and six-inches deep. Two Eton Hexacone woofers and one Morel tweet are inside. The Seven-LR speakers, which also include Eton Hexacone woofers and Morel tweeters, are 10-inches wide and six-inches deep with a height that can be built to spec.

Michael, thank you so much for the write up! We are thrilled to be offering the new Seven Series, blending art and audio to such a high level. Just to clarify, the new Sevens actually use Seas Excel woofers and tweeters (looks like we need to update our website!). The image uploaded shows an African Wenge hardwood finish, but of course all Leon’s can be custom finished to any style.
